Reservation & Cancellation Policy
When you book a trip or course with Equinox Guiding Service, we reserve a guide specifically for your program. Because of this, cancellations can significantly impact our schedule and guides. Please review our policy below.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Cancellations
• 30+ days before your program:
Refund minus a 4% administrative fee
• Less than 30 days before your program:
Credit issued for a future reservation within the same season
• Less than 48 hours before your program or no-show:
No refund or credit available
Short-Notice Bookings
Programs booked within 48 hours of the scheduled date are non-refundable.
Weather
Climbing takes place outdoors and weather is part of the experience.
• Rock Climbing: Programs typically run in light rain. If the 24-hour forecast shows greater than 40% chance of rain, you may reschedule at no cost.
• Ice Climbing: Programs may be adjusted for unsafe cold or poor ice conditions. If conditions prevent the program from running safely, we will offer a credit toward a future reservation.
Transportation
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to program locations unless otherwise stated.
Dogs
For safety and focus during climbing programs, dogs are not permitted.
Trip Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your investment in case of illness, travel delays, or unexpected schedule changes.
